Revolutionizing agriculture through biotechnology
Building a future for farmers with healthier crops, lower costs, and greater yields through natural solutions.

Farming aided by microorganisms
For decades, using chemicals in farming has compromised health, sustainability, and costs. While bioproducts offer a safer alternative, their short shelf life has limited effectiveness—until now. Haltec’s breakthrough biotechnology extends microbial viability, empowering farmers to replace harmful chemicals with a long-lasting, sustainable solution.
Suitable for small and large scale farming, Haltec bioproducts reduce chemical reliance, promote healthier food, protect farmworkers, restore soil ecosystems, cut costs, and significantly increase yields, all aided by microorganism.

Haltec Bio Products
Watch as microbes work to transform your life in the farm. With innovations like Vital N Plus and Bugcheck, your quality of life will improve in unimaginable ways.

Developed in 2003, this biofertilizer has boosted yields for farmers for over two decades. By inoculating crops with Azospirillum bacteria, it reduces fertilizer needs by up to 50%, enhances root growth, and prevents root infections—all with a shelf life of at least 3 years.

Traditional pesticides harm both pests and users—but not anymore. Bugcheck, powered by Beauveria bassiana and Bacillus thuringiensis, effectively controls widespread armyworms in onions and corn without harming beneficial organisms. With NO re-entry period needed, it’s a sustainable choice for pest management—all with a shelf life of at least 3 years.
Innovators

Dr. Ponciano Halos, PhD
A graduate from UC Berkley, Dr. Ponciano led a life of innovations in the field of agriculture.
His research on mango fruit rots paved the way for mango exportation in the Philippines, ultimately earning him his TOYM award. He has had a huge breakthroughs with his work on the interaction of endomycorrhizas and rhizobia in plants, and pioneered integrated approaches in controlling plant diseases.
His passion for improving crop quality led to the invention of Haltec’s products.

Dr. Saturnina Halos, PhD
The field of DNA forensics in the Philippines has never been the same since Dr. Saturnina established the first DNA forensics laboratory in the country.
With her PhD in genetics from UC Berkley, she played a huge role in creating policies that greatly contributed to improvements to the country’s policies. She continues to contribute to this today.
Through the combined genius of husband and wife, they came up with innovative solutions that led to the development of our bioproducts.
